
H. ROSS TOTTEN, FCIP,
CCIB - PRESIDENT, CEO - 
H. Ross Totten, FCIP, CCIB., is President and CEO of Totten Insurance Group which includes Groupe Gestionnaire d'Assurances Totten Ltee in Quebec & Cross Border Underwriting Services, and is division of HUB International, the 9th largest brokerage firm in the world.
Totten Insurance Group is a specialty insurance wholesaler that develops niche products and provides innovative solutions for out-of-the-ordinary lines of business.
Ross is a Past President of the Insurance Institute of Ontario and Past Governor of the Insurance Institute of Canada. Involved in education for several years, he has been an Institute course instructor; Coordinator of Insurance Studies at St. Clair College; a teacher and lecturer for RIBO licensing and CAIB courses. Most recently he was a recipient of the National Leadership Award for Established Leaders, presented by the Insurance Institute of Canada.
A frequent speaker at seminars regarding insurance issues dealing with niche or specialty marketing, he has written numerous articles on the subject. Currently he is the International Executive Committee representative for Gamma Iota Sigma, an insurance fraternal organization on University and College campuses in Canada and the USA.

LAURA MOSES, CAIB, CIP
- EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT, C.O.O. & C.M.O -

Laura brings
over 25 years of experience in commercial insurance
to her new position at Totten Group. She has an extensive
background in large or specialty Property & Casualty
insurance accounts, as well as working in the inland
marine segment of our industry for many years. A strong
supporter of education in our business she has achieved
two of the industry's degrees and continues to pursue
ongoing personal education.
Her experience has been gained during her tenure with
a major international insurance company, and in dealing
with Lloyd's of London and a variety of international
markets over the years. For the past several years Laura
has held senior management positions with a national
intermediary and most recently an MGA for Aviva Canada.
MIKE CALLON -
SR. VICE-PRESIDENT, MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- 
Entering the insurance
business in 1962, he has extensive underwriting, marketing
and broker experience. The underwriting and marketing
experience was gained while representing 3 of the larger
commercial writers in Ontario over a 34 year span; mixed
in with 8 years as an Independent Broker.
Mike has spent the last 8 years as the VP of Marketing
for a large National Intermediary. He has traveled across
Canada participating in conventions, broker calls, broker
meetings, trade shows, seminars and product presentations.
Mike brings a good general knowledge of products, markets
and brokers to our team.

D. CAROL GAWRYLASH -
SR. VICE-PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS & PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY
- 
D. Carol Gawrylash
is Sr. Vice President of Operations and Professional
Liability Manager. Carol has 36 years experience in
the insurance industry; 28 years specializing in all
lines of professional liability. Her experience was
gained in Insurance Company related positions and, previously,
as the Manager of the Professional Liability division
of an Insurance Intermediary, where she was also the
Vice President of Operations.

BARB DINAN, CAIB,
CIP - VICE-PRESIDENT & C.C.O. - 
Barb brings over
25 years experience as an insurance intermediary to
her new position as Vice President of Totten Group.
Having worked previously for a national wholesaler in
various senior positions, Barb has developed a knowledge
of special risk and niche property / casualty accounts.
Most recently she has owned her own technology consulting
company providing service to the insurance industry.

TERRY GUDMUNDSON -
VICE-PRESIDENT, WESTERN REGION - 
Terry has joined
the firm as Manager, Manitoba/Saskatchewan. Well known
in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and North Western Ontario,
Terry brings 30 years of insurance experience to his
role at Totten Group. He brings with him a background
of both Company and Intermediary experience along with
a great deal of local and regional knowledge. He is
well qualified to assist brokers with the placement
of unusual and difficult risks.
KEN RAYNER, CIP
- VICE-PRESIDENT, MARKETING - 
Ken brings many years
of experience as a senior executive in the industry
holding such positions as President of both Crum &
Forster and Omega General Insurance companies. He was
previously president of CULE Insurance when the Totten
Group purchased CULE. He brings a broad range of marketing
& underwriting skills to his new position along
with a strong background in broker relations & business
development, and he has conducted many RIBO credited
courses for brokers and is a certified trainer of the
Xerox Professional Selling Skills course.

GINO S. VAISICA -
VICE-PRESIDENT, QUEBEC - 
Gino has over 35
years of experience in commercial insurance and commercial
financing, holding senior management positions with
various major national and international companies.
Most recently, he was the owner of an insurance intermediary
for several years in Québec prior to joining
Totten Insurance Group. Gino has an extensive experience
in the underwriting of Casualty and E&O accounts.

RICHARD BÉLANGER -
VICE-PRESIDENT, QUEBEC - 
His expertise is well known in Quebec, where he has worked for many years in senior management for insurance Intermediaries, as well as broker and company positions in our industry. Richard brings that expertise to a variety of projects he works on for our team across Canada. 
SHARAN GREWAL -
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Sharan joined Hub International in 2005 as an Executive Assistant to the Hub Ontario Executive team. Thereafter an opportunity arose for the position of a Producer within Hub, and as she is RIBO licensed, she successfully produced for a short term. Although Sharan enjoyed the experience, an opportunity was presented by Totten Insurance Group in 2008 to bring over her versatility, vast administration experience and professionalism in the capacity of an Executive Assistant to senior management. She did so and is enjoying being an instrumental part of such a unique and great team.

DANA WILLIAMS -
CFO
Dana is one of HUB
International's Regional CFOs which means that in addition
to being CFO of HKMB HUB, she also holds that responsibility
for HUB Ontario, HUB Quebec and the Totten Insurance
Group, another member of the HUB International family.
She is also a member of the combined Executive Committee
for HKMB HUB and HUB Ontario.
Dana’s 20 years
of broad ranging experience began in the resource sector
with Placer Dome and Noranda. After attaining her MBA
from the University of Western Ontario in 1993, Dana
became a senior manager with Deloitte and worked in
the US and the Asia/Pacific region as a consultant to
Fortune 500 clients in manufacturing, insurance, healthcare
and mining.
In 2002, Dana obtained
her Certified Public Accountant designation and served
as a Vice President with Marsh based in the Cayman Islands.
There she led a team that managed 25 insurance captives
of Fortune 500 companies and healthcare organizations
representing $1B in assets and $600M in annual premium.
In 2005, she moved to RAM Reinsurance in Bermuda as
Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. RAM went public
in the US in 2006.
Dana returned to Canada
and took a position as CFO at Liberty Mutual Canada
in Toronto. Prior to joining HUB International in 2008,
Dana worked in New York as the CFO for a start-up offshore
reinsurance company. Dana grew up in Montreal and speaks
French. She has a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill
University (Gold Medal), a Master in Business Administration
from the University of Western Ontario (Honours) and
is a Certified Public Accountant.
