Denis Dei Cont is President of Totten Insurance Group, Canada’s leading national MGA provider of niche products and innovative solutions. Denis is responsible for providing leadership and direction for Totten Group, and for managing the profitability of the company as well as its partner insurance carriers.

Denis joined Totten in 2016 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He brings over 30 years’ experience to Totten. Prior to joining Totten he was SVP and Chief Underwriting Officer at a major US-based insurer, responsible for all lines of business, including specialty and marine. He has earned the trust of brokers from across the country.

Originally from Winnipeg, Denis graduated from the University of Winnipeg, with a BA in Economics. His insurance career began in his hometown, later making the move to Toronto with a mid-size insurer.

His strengths include product development, talent management, and underwriting. His focus at Totten includes: continued development of a Best in Class product offering and an enhanced service proposition including investment in Technology.
