EPL is Employment related liability, generally established by Canadian law that gives rise to legal liability. It refers to liability stemming most often from discrimination in the workplace, sexual harassment and other employment related conduct.

EPL claims are usually brought against employers or fellow employees, usually by other employee(s) and related to conduct, policies or conditions. These include Failure to Hire, Wrongful Dismissal, Failure to Advance / Promote, Compensation Discrimination, Hostile Work Environment etc. Risk Management – to assist our clients with internal risk management to prevent claims we are able to provide sample Employer HR handbooks, Information (do’s and don’ts) and a Legal Hotline to intervene as early as possible in the process.
