Due to Totten Insurance Group's years of support and continued donations, Craigwood Youth Services presented Joan Totten with a plaque acknowledging the support and generosity of Team Totten.

(Pictured

Jessica Blake, Program Supervisor and Jody Lake, Supervisor for Craigwood sent along the following note to Joan Totten following the London office's donation.....
"Thank You for your donation of the grocery gift cards. Many of our client's families struggle financially and Christmas can be a difficult time of the year for them.
The family that was chosen for your donation struggles to make ends meet as the father suffers from a medical condition that prevents him from working, and is on a geared income as a result, and not by choice.
Although this gift was given discretely as to not embarrass the family in any way, we know that they are grateful, and it will be put to proper use.
Thanks again for making one family's Christmas a little bit brighter."
Craigwood Youth Services has a long history of providing care and services to youth and their families, Many of these families are in crisis mode when they reach out to Craigwood.

Christmas comes early because of Team Totten |
| |
Totten Insurance Group opened their hearts and once again helped improve the lives
of those less fortunate by making another large donation to Craigwood Youth Services,
a registered, non-profit organization that offers a
wide variety of services to troubled youth and their
families.
Team Totten, guided by Joan Totten, decided to not wait until the holiday season to donate
toys, clothing, and many household items to assist those in need, and try to make it seem like Christmas came early.
This year we sent a huge shipment middle of August so kids could have some new clothing going back to school, plus we already are collecting more items for another Christmas donation.

Team Totten - Walking For A Cure |
| |
Totten Insurance Group again took part in the annual inspirational fundraising event, Relay for Life, on June 24th in Etobicoke. This 12-hour overnight, non-competitive relay gives strength to the mission to eradicate cancer.
Team Totten's fundraising really paid off – we were the number 1 team in the Gold category, with our total donations of $17,008!

The atmosphere of the event was so uplifting and full of hope and good cheer. The Survior's walk received a huge ovation and a number of people teared up. The silent lap around the track after the luminaries were lit was eerily beautiful and a time for reflection.
Of course it wasn't all quiet – there was a great band playing all sorts of music. There was also a Sumo Wrestling event where you could suit up and try to knock your opponent down. We're not sure if any of Team Totten actually took part, but it was fun to watch. A number of the Team enjoyed a free 10 minute massage that helped to ease some aches and pains. The night drew to a close with most of the Team sitting in the Totten tents listening and singing to Karrie Warner's kewl playlist!
The entire event seemed to go by so fast, but we will be back next year doing our best to help finally end cancer. And there's always room for you…

HUB Chairman's Award presented to Totten |
| |

The Chairman's Award is presented annually to the HUB
International president or presidents who demonstrate exemplary
leadership through brokerage results, the enhancement of the
HUB brand by promotion of our vision and values, and the
attainment of Quadrant 4 Leadership competencies. These
presidents lead by example, motivate their teams, and foster a
culture of performance.
For 2010, Totten Insurance Group was again recognized. Totten was also a
Chairman's Award winner for 2009.
Totten has seven offices that serve
brokers across Canada. Ross is quick to
note that there is no magic that resulted
in Totten's growth and performance in
2010, just dedication and focus.
To better understand how these leaders achieved great
results, we asked H. Ross Totten, President and CEO of Totten Insurance Group, two questions:
How did your region drive growth and
manage in one of the most challenging economies?
"Our 2010 performance is a direct result of the hard work and
dedication of the Totten team. Increased efficiencies including "green efforts", such as a paperless environment, also helped".
What were the two or three things you and your team
remained laser focused on to steer your region to such great
results?
"It was our commitment to provide top level service to our brokers
and an underwriting expertise and discipline that yields respect
from our markets".

Totten's Tribute to Mary Goodbrand Continues at WICC |
| |
This tribute started in 2007, and is just as important today, some 4 years on. H. Ross Totten,
FCIP, CCIB, President & CEO of Totten Insurance Group
remembers Mary Goodbrand fondly - as a long-time member of the Totten family and a cherished friend. As a valued member of Totten's Professional Liability team, Mary brought great technical strength to her job and a wealth of company knowledge. Mary was one of the first people hired into the Totten Group and had worked previously with many of the same employees at a National Wholesaler.
Her friends at Totten knew her for decades. Her friends at Totten knew her well. They miss Mary's laughter. They miss her mischievious smile, and they miss the long-time connection she brought to their team.
Regrettably, Mary passed away from lung cancer in November 2006. She is remembered at every WICC Dinner by her sister - Carol Gawrylash, Sr. VP Operations and the entire Totten team, who direct their Dinner Sponsorship and Tribute in Mary Goodbrand's name.
To keep Mary's memory, Totten Group have, for the 4th year, sponsored the WICC Dinner and collectively raised $9,000.
